Dream Machine: UniFi Dream Machine Pro (UDM-Pro)

The UniFi Dream Machine Pro (UDM-Pro) is an all-in-one device for scalable networks, combining:

• UniFi Network application;
• Video surveillance system;
• Access control system.

It allows you to manage:

• UniFi network;
• UniFi video cameras;
• UniFi access system;
• UniFi VoIP network.

It can accommodate 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives and record UniFi camera footage.

The UDM-Pro features 8 RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 1 10G SFP+ optical port for the internal network. Additionally, it has 1 1G RJ45 and 1 10G SFP+ WAN ports for internet access. One WAN port can be used as the primary source, and the other as a backup. If the primary WAN port loses network connection, it automatically switches to the backup port without interrupting operations.

Security

The UDM-Pro offers additional Firewall policies for Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) to identify and prevent unwanted intrusions in the network.

• Threat Management easily determines the security level for viruses, malware, Point-to-Point (PtP) connection security, intrusion, internet traffic, and website reputation.
• Endpoint Scanning automatically scans end-users connected to the network to prevent potential network penetration and identify vulnerabilities.
• Honeypot functionality can detect malware and other malicious traffic attempting to scan the network and find vulnerabilities.
• DNS Content Filtering blocks traffic from malicious content sites and phishing attempts. DNS filtering has 3 security levels, each providing additional security.
• GeoIP Filtering filters incoming and outgoing traffic by country.
