MikroTik CCR2004-16G-2S+ Router

A new router from the CCR series with a 4-core processor and 4GB of RAM. The router has 16 1Gbps RJ45 ports and 2 10Gpbs SFP+ ports. It can be installed in a communication rack and comes with two integrated power supplies, one primary and one redundant. The router's RJ45 ports are divided into 2 groups (8 ports each), and each group is connected to an independent switch chipset, which in turn has a 10Gbps connection to the central processor. The SFP+ ports are also separately connected to the central processor with 10Gbps. This scheme significantly increases the device's performance in both switching and routing.

For VPN traffic IPsec encryption, the router, like other CCR routers, has hardware acceleration, allowing it to process up to 3400 Mbps of encrypted traffic.
