The UniFi Access Point U6-IW supports the latest 802.11ax standard, known as WiFi 6. It operates on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz and can handle a total throughput of over 5Gbps. Compared to the 802.11ac standard, WiFi 6 can deliver 37% more throughput and provides 75% less latency. Thanks to the technologies used in it, it is particularly effective in crowded spaces. It mounts to the wall, is small in size, and can be installed next to any wall outlet. Configuration is possible using either a computer or a smartphone.

The kit does not include a PoE converter. It can be powered by a PoE switch or a suitable PoE converter:
