What to check before buying
- Motherboard format. An ATX case takes ATX, mATX and Mini-ITX boards; an mATX case will not take an ATX board;
- Graphics card length. Current RTX cards are 300–360 mm;
- Cooler height. Air coolers reach 155–165 mm;
- Fans. At least two intake and one exhaust — positive pressure keeps dust down;
- Cable management. Space behind the motherboard tray makes assembly much easier.

- Prebuilt computers if you would rather not assemble one.

How do I know the graphics card will fit?
Check the maximum GPU length in the case specification and compare it with the card. Current RTX models are 300–360 mm long.
How many fans do I need?
At least two intake fans at the front and one exhaust at the rear. A gaming build wants 3–6 fans or liquid cooling.
