SSD and M.2 NVMe drives at ITGS — 52 models from Kingston, GOODRAM, Samsung, MSI and Dell: SATA 2.5" and M.2 NVMe formats, from 240GB to 4TB. Prices from 80₾, with the common range being 234₾–1030₾.
SATA or NVMe — the difference
| Type | Speed | When to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| SATA SSD (2.5") | about 550 MB/s | Upgrading an older PC, or a laptop with no M.2 slot |
| M.2 NVMe (PCIe 3.0) | 2000–3500 MB/s | The standard choice in a new system |
| M.2 NVMe (PCIe 4.0) | 5000–7000 MB/s | Gaming, video editing, large files |
What to consider
- Motherboard compatibility. The M.2 slot must support NVMe (some older slots are SATA-only);
- TBW endurance. The higher it is, the longer the drive lasts;
- DRAM cache. Models with DRAM stay more consistent during long writes;
- Cooling. PCIe 4.0 drives often need a heatsink — check whether your board includes one.
What else you will need
- Motherboards — check the number of M.2 slots;
- Hard drives for bulk capacity;
- Memory for upgrades;
- All PC components.

How much does an SSD cost?
At ITGS SSD and M.2 NVMe drives start from 80₾. 500GB models are 234₾–400₾, 1TB 400₾–700₾, and 2TB and above from 1030₾.
SATA or NVMe — which should I choose?
If your motherboard has an M.2 slot, choose NVMe (it is 6–7 times faster). When upgrading an older PC without M.2, a SATA SSD still makes a huge difference compared with a hard drive.
What capacity should I buy?
The system and applications need at least 500GB. If you install games too, go for 1TB. Large media files are better kept on a separate HDD.
What is TBW?
TBW (Terabytes Written) is how much data can be written to the drive over its lifetime. For home use 300–600 TBW is plenty for 5–10 years.
