What to look for
- Panel. IPS — accurate colours and wide viewing angles; VA — high contrast; TN — fast but weak on colour.
- Refresh rate. 60Hz is enough for an office; gaming needs at least 144Hz.
- Ergonomics. Height adjustment and a VESA mount noticeably ease the strain on your back and neck over an 8-hour day.
- Ports. USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode) connects a modern laptop with a single cable — display, network and charging at once.

How much does a good monitor cost?
At ITGS monitors cost between 350₾ and 11,200₾. A 24-inch Full HD IPS office model is 350₾–500₾; a 27-inch QHD 700₾–1300₾; 4K and professional models start from 2000₾.
How many hertz do you need?
For office work 60Hz is perfectly enough. In gaming the difference is tangible: 144Hz is the noticeable minimum and 240Hz is tournament level.
IPS or VA panel?
IPS gives accurate colours and wide viewing angles — the right choice for office and design work. VA has higher contrast — better for films and for working in a dark room.
Why is a surveillance monitor different?
A surveillance monitor (Dahua) is rated for 24/7 operation and has BNC/VGA inputs for working with recorders. An ordinary monitor wears out faster in that duty cycle.
Can I charge my laptop over USB-C?
Yes, if the monitor has a USB-C port with Power Delivery. A single cable then carries video, network and charging — a tidy solution for a desk.
