MikroTik CCR2004-16G-2S+ Router

CCR series router with a quad-core processor and 4 GB of RAM. It has 16 × 1 Gbps RJ45 and 2 × 10 Gbps SFP+ ports. It can be rack-mounted and comes with two built-in power supplies—one primary, one redundant.

The RJ45 ports are divided into two groups (8+8), and each group is connected to an independent switch chipset, which has a 10 Gbps connection to the central processor. The SFP+ ports are also separately connected to the central processor at 10 Gbps. This scheme significantly increases the device's performance in both switching and routing.

For IPsec encryption of VPN traffic, the router, like other CCR series models, has hardware acceleration, allowing it to handle up to 3400 Mbps of encrypted traffic.
