Air Quality Sensor Ajax LifeQuality (8EU), Black (42983.135.BL1)

LifeQuality is an indoor air quality sensor that monitors three indicators: temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide (CO₂) concentration.

Temperature Measurement

Temperature and humidity are measured by a combined digital sensor, and the data is transmitted to Ajax applications. Readings are updated at the frequency of the sensor's polling by the hub, but no less than once per minute. Temperature is measured in the range of 0°C to +50°C, with an accuracy of ±0.2°C.

Humidity Measurement

Humidity readings are measured by the same combined digital sensor. The values are available in Ajax applications, in the Device States section, and are updated no less than once per minute. The measurement range is 0% to 100%, with an accuracy of ±1.8%.

Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) Concentration Measurement

CO₂ levels are measured by a digital carbon dioxide sensor. Values are measured in the range of 400 to 5000 ppm, with an accuracy of ±30 ppm or ±3%, and are updated no less than once per minute.

Air Quality Assessment Based on CO₂ Levels:

• Fresh air — up to 1000 ppm
• Slightly polluted air — 1000 to 1400 ppm
• Polluted air — 1400 to 2000 ppm
• Critically polluted air — more than 2000 ppm

Impact on the Body:

• 1000-2500 ppm — fatigue and decreased concentration
• 2500-5000 ppm — possible negative impact on health
• 5000 ppm and above — maximum permissible concentration for an 8-hour workday
