Full-Color and ColorVu cameras keep a colour image at night instead of switching to black-and-white IR. That is decisive when you need to see the colour of a car, the colour of clothing or a number plate. ITGS carries 24 models from Dahua, HiLook and Imou, priced from 85₾ to 415₾.

When you actually need it
- Car parks and yards. The colour and model of a car remain identifiable at night.
- Shops and warehouses. Clothing colours and product packaging are far easier to read.
- Entrances and parking. Face recognition at night improves considerably.
- Where it will not help: in total darkness — even ColorVu needs a little light (a street lamp, an indicator LED). For complete darkness choose an -IL model.

How much does a Full-Color camera cost?
At ITGS Full-Color and ColorVu cameras range from 85₾ to 415₾. HD (HDCVI/TVI) models cost 85₾–175₾ and IP models start at 167₾.
ColorVu or IR — which should I choose?
If you need the colour of a car, the colour of clothing or fine detail, choose ColorVu/Full-Color. If simply detecting movement is enough, a standard IR camera is cheaper.
Will it work in complete darkness?
A ColorVu camera needs a minimum of ambient light (a street lamp, a yard light). In complete darkness it switches on its white LED illumination. Dahua's -IL models use IR at that point and switch to white light only when movement is detected.
Will the white light disturb the neighbours?
On -IL and -LED models the white light comes on only when movement is detected and stays on for a few seconds. The trigger settings are adjustable in the configuration.
