The air quality control sensor monitors the following three indoor air quality indicators:

Temperature Measurement

Using a sensitive element, a digital combined temperature and humidity sensor measures indicators and transmits them to Ajax applications. Data is updated according to the control panel's frequency — sensor polls, but at least once per minute. Temperature is measured in the range of 0°C to +50°C, with an accuracy of ±0.2°C.

Humidity Measurement

Humidity readings in a protected room are measured using the sensitive element of a combined digital temperature and humidity sensor. The user can monitor values in Ajax applications, and they are updated according to the central sensor polling frequency, but at least once per minute. The measurement range for indicators is 0% to 100%, with an accuracy of ±1.8%. The obtained data is available in Device States in Ajax applications.

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Concentration Measurement

The carbon dioxide level is measured using the sensitive element of a digital carbon dioxide sensor. Indicators are updated in Ajax applications according to the panel's sensor polling frequency, but at least once per minute. Carbon dioxide values are measured in the range of 400 to 5000 ppm, with a measurement accuracy of ±30 ppm or ±3%. Data is available in Device States in Ajax applications. The air quality assessment levels in terms of carbon dioxide in the air are as follows:

Normal air: up to 1000 ppm

Slightly polluted air: 1000 to 1400 ppm

Polluted air: 1400 to 2000 ppm

Critically polluted air: more than 2000 ppm.

The sensor also measures the impact of indicators on well-being:

1000 to 2500 ppm - general lethargy;

2500 to 5000 ppm - possible adverse health effects,

5000 ppm or more - maximum permissible concentration during an 8-hour workday.
