Ubiquiti UniFi is a centralised network system in which the router, switches, Wi-Fi access points and cameras are all managed from a single interface. ITGS carries 45 models: UniFi Dream Machine, U6/U7 access points, UniFi Switch and Cloud Key. Price from 70₾ to 2100₾.
Why people choose UniFi
- One interface. Every device in one dashboard — network map, traffic, clients, VLANs.
- Seamless roaming. Users move from one access point to another without dropping the connection — critical for offices and hotels.
- Design. Wall- and ceiling-mounted access points that do not spoil the interior.
- Scalability. Adding a new access point takes five minutes — the configuration is pushed automatically.
How a UniFi network is built
| Component | What it does |
|---|
| UniFi Dream Machine / Cloud Gateway | Router and controller in one |
| UniFi Switch (PoE) | Power for access points and cameras |
| UniFi AP (U6/U7) | Wi-Fi 6/7 coverage |
| Cloud Key | Local controller if you have no gateway |

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Ubiquiti UniFi cost?
At ITGS Ubiquiti prices range from 70₾ to 2100₾. UniFi access points cost 350₾–900₾, PoE switches 400₾–1300₾, and the Dream Machine series 1300₾–2100₾.
Do I need a Cloud Key?
Not necessarily. If you have a UniFi Dream Machine or Cloud Gateway, the controller is built in. A separate Cloud Key is only needed if you are installing access points and switches alone.
How many access points do I need?
On average one AP covers 80–120 m² or 25–40 devices. A two-storey office needs at least 2 APs per 500 m².
Can UniFi and MikroTik work together?
Yes, the hybrid setup is common: MikroTik as the router (firewall, VPN) and UniFi for Wi-Fi coverage. ITGS designs and deploys both.
