DVR video recorders — recorders for analogue HD cameras that run over coaxial cable. ITGS carries 22 models from Dahua, Hikvision and HiLook, from 4 to 16 channels. Prices from 155₾ to 1446₾.
DVR or XVR — what is the difference
A DVR records analogue cameras only. An XVR is hybrid — it supports HDCVI, AHD, TVI and IP cameras at the same time. If you plan to add IP cameras later, choose an XVR.
| Channels | Suited for | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 4 channels | Flat, small office | 155₾–230₾ |
| 8 channels | House, shop | 229₾–350₾ |
| 16 channels | Warehouse, production site | from 403₾ |
What to consider
- Resolution. The recorder must support your cameras' resolution — a 5MP camera needs a 5MP-capable DVR;
- Drive. Many models take a single drive (up to 8TB);
- Audio. If you need sound recording, pick a model with an audio input (e.g. DS-H204QA);
- Mobile access. Current models work with the DMSS or Hik-Connect app.
What else you will need
- HD cameras (HDCVI, AHD, TVI);
- Hard drives — surveillance series;
- All recorders — NVR, XVR, DVR;
- A UPS — so recording continues during a power cut.

How much does a DVR cost?
At ITGS DVR recorders cost between 155₾ and 1446₾. Four-channel units are 155₾–230₾, eight-channel 229₾–350₾ and sixteen-channel from 403₾.
DVR or NVR — which do I need?
If the site is wired with coaxial cable and analogue HD cameras — a DVR. If it uses IP cameras and UTP cable — an NVR. For a mixed system an XVR is the more flexible choice.
Will my old cameras work with a new DVR?
Yes, as long as the standard matches (HDCVI, AHD or TVI). Modern XVR models detect the standard automatically.
Which hard drive should I install?
A surveillance-grade drive (WD Purple, Seagate SkyHawk). An ordinary desktop drive is not rated for 24/7 writing and fails quickly.
